Tired from traveling, we wanted something quick and satisfying, and ended up in a small Left Bank place that specializes in pizza and pasta. My spouse opted for a thin-crusted pizza, while I was tempted by one of the day's specials listed on a black board - Penne with Fresh Tomato Sauce, Arugula and Parmesan. When I asked our waiter if the sauce was homemade and truly prepared with fresh tomatoes, he assured me it was and added that it was delicious.
