Tried 'n' True: Try a different kind of apple cake
My husband, Gene’s, Aunt Ginnie (Virginia Myles) used to make this recipe. It is a different kind of apple cake. She liked anything simple. Uncle Peck really enjoyed apple pie cake. They didn’t have children so they enjoyed our boys. They were always bringing cakes, candy, etc., up to Oilfield when we lived up there.
